The aim of the Mark Janes Golf Academy is to create a relaxed and fun environment in which to improve your golf. We offer a comprehensive range of lessons that cater for the total beginner through to the most experienced of players that seek to play to their full potential.

Golf lessons are not all about the negative aspects of your game, it is important to explain the positive side of the student's game as well. I believe in explaining where both the good and the bad shots originate.

Good instruction should never take you too far away from hitting good golf shots. I simply add a little ingredient to what people have, I would never try and tear someone's game apart and start again.

Everyone is capable of hitting good shots; it is all about how often they actually hit the shot they would like.

First and foremost I want to give people the ability of hitting their good shot a greater percentage of the time, consistency is the key to improving most amateurs games.

After all there is no definitive method, you have to find what works for the individual. Never try and conform to the latest so-called method, what works for a Tiger Woods probably won't work in the same way for you.

Although there are a few basic fundamentals in the set up and swing which benefit a good percentage of golfers, the swing itself has plenty of room for personality. As many great Instructors have said, you don't teach methods you teach people.   

Using the very latest V1 computer/video technology to help communicate the main points of the lesson, I'm positive you will see your swing in a new light and I promise it will change the way you previously thought about golf lessons.

   Led by Director of Instruction Mark Janes, who is a PGA Qualified Leadbetter trained golf professional. Mark offers a level of professionalism, instruction and facilities that should comfortably surpass anything you have experienced before.

   The Chessington Golf centre offers superb indoor and outdoor instruction facilities, allowing us to provide individual and group tuition as well as specialising in Corporate Clinics.

   An extensive variety of Corporate golf days are available. These include group clinics, presentations, complete organisation of your day and even the flexibility of attending a venue of your choice.

    Each student will receive a complementary VHS cassette featuring in-depth video/audio swing analysis.
